    Haha!

I was distracted by how good Jon's covers look on those Throbaks! Those covers make that guitar in my eye. On an SG where they rise up above the rings so much, having a good set of corners on the PU covers is everything. ...to me, at least.

Inlays. Yes. Still on my mind, not yet on my guitars. I'll get there.

Just a shot of the Vitamin Qs I got from Tundratone that I put in the ol' 05 R8. Pots are stock, however. 50s wiring. Excellent upgrade for little dough. :dude:

How do you like the taper on those TVT pots, Laservampire? I've got 'em in mine also.

I don't quite follow what you mean about the cut down covers on the Sheds? Is that to get them to sit lower? Pictures of this fine instrument would be much appreciated.

    Decoy - it's beautiful!

What a fantastic top. What's the story behind the neck re-shape?

Thanks James! Well the neck on this one is actually quite good. It has a tad more shoulder on it than I would prefer so I'm going to eventually have the truss rod and board changed and neck reshaped to get as close to a '50's neck as possible. It's by no means a baseball bat its much closer to an R9 neck than most R8's, but since Id be going in to change the other stuff I might as well have that neck done up.

It's a light guitar too. I have never weighed it but I'm guessing low 8's Rings like a bell!
