OK, it's official, I'm putting this bad boy into the bridge position of my goldtop. It's another early Pat. Sticker pickup, with twin black leads just like the one installed in the neck currently. I'm getting it from Kim LaFluer, and should arrive Monday or Tuesday. This should be my last change to this guitar, unless someone is selling a pair of original pickup rings cheap.

Well, the pickup arrived late yesterday, and so early this morning the smell of solder and flux filled my workshop. I was really happy with the Antiquity, but this sucker just smokes! It has even more bloom and clarity than the Antiquity had. I'd highly recommend Kim LaFluer from Vintage Checkout/Historic Makeovers, he's a class act, a straight shooter, and always a pleasure doing business with.

There are few that can match Kim's customer service. Many others could take a lesson from him.

Thanks, it's an army of Les Pauls! Interesting how different each of us sound. The sound on this clip isn't that great, but there are some other clips on Youtube that have better sound, but I'm playing my 335.
