Big round horns!
beauty emiel! here's mine.
About 30 years ago when I was in my 2nd or 3rd year of college, I went to see a concert being held in our university campus cafeteria. The band playing was called 10,000 Maniacs. There were maybe 100 people attending. The singer, who was just a girl, had the voice of an angel and also played piano. There was an honesty and genuine kindheartedness about her. The singer of course was Natalie Merchant, who would move on to a solo career a few years later with arguably her greatest work to date, Tigerlilly.
I ran across this mesmerizing live version of the song Carnival, with Jennifer Turner, who was Natalie's guitarist on that album. Turner is certainly one of the most remarkable and unheralded guitar players and really helped galvanize the sound of that amazing album.
Have a nice weekend! The incoming ST-60 and one of my favourite guitar playing girls:
No need to make me even more aroused.
