I came across these New made in japan traditional's yesterday, Can't help but notice the fret boards appear Dark, And they also seem to have many colors in the field, I personally like the color options their offering, Here are just a few of the many.

The Japan ones were nice in the late 90's.
I never could deal with the neck going thicker at the12th fret though.
My hand cramped every time I tried one.

    That's higher than I thought.
But seeing the USA made pricing...
Maybe it's "in line" with the rest of "the line".
    :D

P.S.: They were around $830 (late 90's) if I remember correctly.

Where online can I find them? Or which guitar shop? I recall seeing a paisley-patterned MIJ at GC recently but that was it.

They are around ¥80 to ¥97,000. The ebay sellers are sharks and should be avoided.

I have played quite a few of them. They are very nice.

Does anyone know what factory is making these? The older MIJ Fenders have been terrific, in my opinion. Simply excellent, and better value for money than most USA Fenders.
