Not sure we have a dedicated thread for this... let me know if we do already!

Just curious to see what's out there... I know I'll have seen a lot of them piecemeal already, but maybe not in one place :)

Also, any idea on replacement parts? I might want to try an ashtray/3-saddle bridge and 2x single coils for the proper tele look, but will USA Joe Barden bridges fit MIJ Tokai teles in terms of screw spacing?

    Now, tele photos purleaase

i'd be happy if i could just get an answer to my question about bridges really...
no need for a tele super-thread if people don't want one

BTW even if screw placement is different (which it probably is metric vs inches) thats what screw guns are made for :)

or you can plug and redrill, you can get most measurements for the bridges from the places selling the item, easy enough to compare to your current bridge.

it also depends on the model whether or not it's a modern or vintage bridge as those will be different from one another and wont drop in without mods, I do believe however the vintage bridge style MIJ will accept a replica MIA bridge..

Ive only ever fitted a modern style MIA bridge to a MIJ body and it was fine

but again it's an easy but time consuming fix.

Fernandes "Stone Logo". Late 70's and all original.

Crafted in Japan, Fender Tobacco Burst with Texas Special pups. Replacement Scud body(MIJ) that was a straight swap, new harness and an All Parts bakelite pick guard that was slightly adjusted to fit the neck.

These guitars are obviously fakes. Even I can see they're not real Gibson Les Pauls or real Other Les Pauls. I think the biggest clue is the Fender name on the headstock! :naughty:
