1988 Wine Red Les Paul Standard with the Bill Lawrence designed `The Original' pickups.
2007 R9 that I no longer own... guess I need to change my Avatar into something a little more current.
EDIT: Changed Avatar to my '56 Special head stock. I still own this one.
EDIT no. 2: Changed Avatar to my '56 Special bottom half.
That 82’ is stunning. Hope you still own that. I look'd at your media pics of it.
Mine is the guitar at left and above. It's a 2000 Classic with Seth Lovers. Orange drop caps and some shielding made it my #1. I bought it new 17 years ago. It was hanging up in a local dealer's shop. I spied the dark rosewood fingerboard and that in itself is what attracted my attention.
Mine is an '80 LPC recently done up as a Hetfield Iron Cross. It's heavy- so much so that when I pick up my R8 it feel like a child's toy lol.
Mine is a '60 LP Jr. that I got locally a few months ago. It was a pretty rare (for me) occurrence that I found something that I was looking for locally and could actually take it for a test drive before buying. I checked out one afternoon and bought it the next day. The dealer (True Vintage Guitar) got it from the son of the original owner, so I'm "sort of" the second owner depending on how you want to define that.
I was being a dork and messing around in GIMP with some of the pics I took one day and ended up making it my current avatar...
2017 Standard Blueberry T...
It's my "Golden Wheat" R8;
2014 CC#28 STP Montrose
An awesome player that truly inspires.
What I find truly neat is that it don't matter WHAT model LP it is. They're ALL wonderful. Keep 'em coming
I had the poster for that hanging on my barracks wall while I was in the Army!
Even then I dreamed of owning one, but never could conceive of how... They were a lot of money!
Thank you so much!
I'm honored to be the proud papa of something that stands out among this distinguished crowd!
There are so many good lookers in here that I may have to start wearing the depends just so I can sit still long enough to get through them all!
I guess I can put up a couple more now that @mudface has put in his 2 cents!
Gotta try to keep up with the Joneses and it's not easy in here, I can tell you that!
There's too much awesomeness in one place! (head explodes...)
89 Junior that I found hanging in a secondhand shop in Cambridge... Apparently it had been hanging their for ages.... Its my No1 guitar, even though still I have a Tele that I bought in 1976 with an original P90 staple pickup on the neck
Really nice color fade!
Just needs the bottle cap mod.. (ducks, runs from room!)
That's a good name, my CC28 is now "2 CENTS"..............thanks Darrell
My one and only LP is a 2005 Standard in Iced Tea. Everything except the body and neck has been replaced/upgraded. It doesn't get played much because I prefer my semi acoustics, but it's still a great guitar.
No non no non on non no!
Did not mean guitar was 2 cents! OMG! Somebody just please hit me with a brick or something if I ever thought that!
No the 2 cents was in the number of pics you posted, ie several, as if to rub it in or make a point... Like putting in your 2 cents.
And now that you did, I felt it was OK for me to do the same to try to 'keep up' with the legend that is Muddy by posting some humble pics of my mere Standard.......
Clear as Mud, now? Ha! Full pun intended!
(I need more coffee....)
Yeah! That! ^^^^^^
But I like the name and I'm gonna claim it, in no way did I feel disrespected my friend. You're alright Darrell
The headstock of my mint 1978 LPC.
