seems like alot of Forumites have bought the new CC as of late--let's show them off ,all colors!!!
i want to see these!!!
Pre ordered a GT last week from Sweetwater. First week of May I was told. Im number 6 of 7 gold tops they are getting. Ill be changing the plastic to cream and the knobs to Amber. ( If we bond )
bufbills: dude that looks sweet!! good luck, post pix when you get that beauty!
I hope to join this club by early May!!!! Now which color? Antique natural or Wine Red?
I like the look of the Antique natural.. but that's just me.
i will be joining this summer hopefully-- antique natural---
Damn it gerry. Always got to flaunt the guitar I am saving for hahaha.
I look forward to joining this group soon. I can almost smell the fresh Nitro >.<
I've been told I'm not allowed to post mine anymore.
Ah, who am I kidding:
And my "original" Classic Custom:
Thunderdump: if you got it, flaunt it, I always say, LOL!!!
btw: I had the chance to buy a rare Classic Custom in Cream, but passed on it--also a Supreme with a minor headstock repair, kinda too blingy for me--but in the end, the CC I bought brand-new made more sense , which also enabled me to buy my new Blackstar HT40 [traded in my Epi Slash AFD, got a freaking screeaming deal on it]
My only pics of my 2011 Classic Custom
And this is my Custom truss rod cover in honor of my dad who just passed away on Feb 15, 2012...I miss you dad....
SonicBlur: gorgeous--and big kuods to you for that TRC, I know all too much what it's like to lose my Dad [who passed away nearly 3 years ago--he was the one that suggested a new guitar over a motorcycle 35 years ago, he must've knew something--I am forever grateful for that--funny part is, everytime I got a new guitar, he'd say 'so is that the ultimate?' I'd just always laughed at that!!]
Yeah, it's one of those things that you never thought could or would ever happen but this is how life goes...my dad was always one of my biggest supporters in playing guitar, that's why I chose my favorite one to remember him by...there is just something about playing some Boston on the LP, it was his favorite band.
I hear you, dude--my Dad was the same way, watching me play both at church and club gigs--he would always want to know how my gig went, always smiled whenever I told him we had a great show--I guess we're lucky to have supportive dads overall!
man oh man too many good looking guitars up in this thread. Im off to go find that post where the guy tried relicing his epi with a screwdriver just to balance out this beauty. not too sure if my eyes can take it anymore haha
Those natural finishes are awesome! Congrats guys!
seems like out of all the finishes of the CC, the antique natural gets the most props, for good reason, LOL!!
