could you give some details?
Hi. I need to Know if anyone have seen before 7 strings like these. https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br...ne-7-cordas-by-gibson-usada-somente-venda-_JM https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br...ne-7-cordas-by-gibson-usada-somente-venda-_JM
We need more pics, by now it looks fake to me
what is wrong with the horn and cutaway...I compared to others and didn't noticed
The original Knob where included with, the guy changed them. I have also the case
I did not say anything about the horn or knobs - nonetheless we need more pics......
Paruwi, I remember a LP Custom MIK in vintage sunburst but it wasn’t similar to the tribute finish this one has. Am I remembering correctly?
OP, I’m the one that said the knob placement was off, but it could be the angle of the pic. To me, the neck volume knob is too far forward in relation to the bridge. The cut away looks shallow and wide . Horn looks like a cross between a made in Korea and an Eclipse type. Again, could be the angle of the pics and could be the reason you’re not seeing what I see since you have the guitar in front of you. The stop bar/tail piece screws look like the wrong ones as well. They look like round tops instead of flat.
Like I said, trust Paruwi’s judgement to confirm. I’m just a guitar player not an expert.
You can't call it fake just by the finish....
Sorry I replied on the wrong guy my mistake
I will do more picture this night
Could you tell me what is wrong with the cut away and the horn shape?
Is the serial EE080203065 already been used, as per your different discussions/checks?
like Pawrui said, post some more pics and he can give definitive answers. Post a pic of where the binding on the body meets the neck in the cut away, a pic of the serial # and back of head stock and headstock binding, especially where it meets the nut/neck.
yeah, that was more for personal reference. I love that tribute color and was just wondering. I should have been clear on that. Sorry guys .
not exactly, but many confirmed fakes have close numbers....like
and IIRC back in 2008 the production-number wasn't 5 digits
So binding at head
sorry this one is 300% Fake - no doubt
Ok so no doubt also with the serial format...with the big EE
big fat EE in the serial#
binding at the headstock and body
rounded studs at the Tailpiece
fake tuners, too big washers
placement of the €piphone-Logo on the headstock
does the label read 'Sct-Up' ?
look at the first post of this thread and scroll down for comparison pics
Label say Set-up
How do you see that tuners are fake...to compare with real ones?
this are real ones...
If you don't believe me, feel free to ask the customer-Service guys in the Netherlands
and hope to get one of the knowledgeable ones like Stijn V (hopefully he still works there)
