It's gone, are you the new happy owner?
Nope. I messaged the seller some time ago for more details and he ignored me. I don't deal with sellers who don't communicate properly.
I don't think it sold. Looks like the listing just ran out.
Edit: Correction, it did seem to sell. Oh well. Keep looking.
Another one in UK: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gibson-Les-Paul-Double-Cutaway-Faded-Cherry-/162631223607?
Oh, but I have my eye on something completely different now. Not even a Faded, and not even Gibson
Is it still a guitar?
Yes, it is. Might have an update soon if it works out, but it's highly likely that it will.
I just saw one sell on eBay for 1275. I wish it had been to me!
I apologize in advance. Not remotely faded. In fact, covered in polyurethane...
But I wanted one, anyway
Surely looks beautiful!!!
A kind I do not have, but would like to.
Wonder what it sounds like?
And... no, I won't buy another guitar this year!
It's very, very versatile - once you get used to how the controls work, you can pretty much make it sound like anything you can think of. I highly recommend getting one while they're available (Gretsch has discontinued the Panther model). It's a great guitar.
I cannot help to wonder what it would be like with a faded finish
Larry Corsa modded Faded on Ebay UK:
I find that there's been many Fadeds for sale on eBay UK in the past months, is it a late post brexit effect?
If I didn't already own a faded I'd go for the Corsa one, cheaper and upgraded (and I can certify that Larry Corsa really upgrades them as I have two of his LCPG Fadeds), but apparently it's still for sale when the 'normal' one is already gone. It's a strange world...
Yep, that 08 sold pretty quickly. Prettier than the Larry Corsa one, though. Or maybe just better pics in the ad.
Indeed, better pics in the ad (enhanced contrast, gamma curve...)
Here are two 2007 HB for sale in Netherlands:
This one @ € 2090
This one @ € 1790
That seller is always very pricey. He's had some nice Fadeds over the years, though.
A Grand Mother of all the Fadeds for sale in UK:
Bids start at... ... £ 250,000.00 (~ € 271,000 - $ 320,000)
Looks like a Faded, but "Custom Shop" on the back of the headstock?
Never heard of a Custom shop Faded before
IMHO it looks like a custom shop sticker waterslide decal has been stuck on what looks like a legit 2005 Faded's neck (for an unidentified reason or purpose.)
Let's see how high this auction will go...
