Isn't this one of the most beautiful songs ever?

The layers of guitar work (Seems countless. Supposedly as many as 14 at points) are never over done. Always adding something even more tasteful. Maybe even Page's BEST Masterpiece (IMO). This song makes me FEEL things no other song does. All the way to my core.

Thank you Dale, for bringing a detailed and perfect paced lesson of this foundation. JUST SUPERB! :applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Do you also feel how something very special was aligned from above, for this to have the impact it has?

Vixen in my dreams, with great surprise to me
Never thought I'd see your face.... the way it used to be
    Oh darlin', oh darlin'

hello gentlemen and please know that the posts are very appreciated - thanks!

KP11520 - really enjoyed your post and share some of your thoughts too. Page's music and writing can move me like no other at times too. The Rain Song, honestly Stairway and this tune are just genius. He takes some hits from players for being 'sloppy' well for me his legacy will be a catalogue of tunes few can compare with - the man has a gift few could match IMO.

    thanks again,
    dale

Thanks Dale, I'm always checking here to see what your newest tutorial is!

One thing, and it's only because I'm newer I'm sure. Sometimes it is difficult for me to 'see' what notes your fingertips are fretting. I know your very good at calling them out but it really helps me to have a visual of where the notes are as in TAB.

I'm sure it's not easy to do and probably not needed by many others learning your tutorials but, if you had a visual of a TAB on screen for each chord that would be really helpful :)

If not, no problem, I appreciate your efforts and excellent videos :thumb:

hello Mike...thanks for taking your time to check this out and also give the feedback which is very helpful. I think you are 100% right and it's really just my inability to know of a good way to get these vids in tab form.

I appreciate you sharing music and i hope all is great your way!

    your friend,

This song is in drop d tuning which only trips you up in the chord voicings bridge after the solo if you try to play it in std.
