Gotta love the sparkle. I just put this one together a few months ago. It has a Custom Shop body, a 51ri neck and a Nocaster pickup set. I wanted a Tele that stood out from the crowd.

I'm a new Telecaster owner, first one ever and I've been playing since 82. They are not one trick ponies like a lot of folks seem to think, they are pretty versatile and not difficult to play for me.

Custom Shop American Custom with DiMarzio Super Distortion in teh beidge ans a Duncan quarter pounder in the neck.

True. "That tone" is right. I also have much love for the Tele neck pickup sound, personally. ...well, the right Tele neck pickup. Certainly some (and/or their wiring circuit) are way too dark.

I have always loved Teles, but haven't always owned them.

Teles are a big part of my collection and I always gig with a Tele, though I use other types of guitar as a foil for them onstage too.

The good thing about Teles is that even the cheaper ones, can be easily made to play well and be giggable.

I've owned others too, but some I've sold on.

    LOVE my Tele :

Very simple in design, but not as simple as my LP Junior.
Now there is a guitar with minimal parts to it !!!
