    X-Ray, that silver Deluxe does it for me big time. Beautiful guitar, sir. :)

    the color is called, Tungsten Gray
    i really lucked out with this Deluxe
    that is, it plays and sounds as good as it looks

    i once had a butterscotch Tele, sooo sweet...

    highly recommend the flavor

    Here's my Davenport Custom Guitars Tele. Clearly one of the best sound and playing guitars I own. Unbelievable craftsmanship. Loaded with our wiring harness and Jimmy Wallace '52 tele pickups.

    Looks killer! I love Blackguards with that Blonde finish. Just so classic. It's the Fender equivalent of a a '59 with that Sunburst finish for me. I love it.

    My '83 top loader and its "evil twin" (Squier CV50's).

    With both black and tort guard on the '83 (I switch back and forth), and the CV50's with the ashtray off/on.

    I bought this new in 1970. It's played a lot gigs over the years and just gets better with age. She's had a makeover giving her an original James Burton look with a 4/way switch and Fender Texas Tele pups. I still have the original pups, switch and even the pots. It sounds great, just like a Tele should. :)

    I think that i may have posted a pic of my CS NOS '51 Nocaster before...but here it is again together with a pic of my CS '69 Thinline Relic.
