a very strange situation, i am at a loss for words other than, WOW!
looks great! love the Revolver drum head also!
Here is a couple shots of my newest Tele. A nice 85-86 Pink Paisley RI
here is mine... she was my #1 for years. She spent about 6 years onstage 4-5 nights a week in bars, clubs, theaters, and festivals. I still love to break her out every now and then but she is mostly a home and session player now
you can't tell it in the pic but she is dented, scratched, and corroded... all in a beautiful way
I've got some (Dano) Tele love
I can't say enough good things about this guitar, amazing in every way and versatile too!
I'd love a 52 RI.
Where's the best place to start schnooting around for one? I'd trade a Gibson SG Classic, but I don't think it's worth enough to get a 52RI.
Bump! This is a great thread, and I didn't want to see it lost in the bowels of MLP!
I'll add one more.
Got this 07 Standard off of CL for $250.
It gets played more than my LP Jr.
only gigged her twice. great player!
Every one should have at least one tele- nothing sounds quite like them
They were and still probably are my favorite Fender guitar. I use to be anti-Strat but here recently I got a Strat I absolutely love but I can pretty much love any Tele right away. I love Teles!
I love seeing all the beautiful Teles in this thread!
Here's a more recent pic of my American Standard.
hahaha Captain Stupidstatement
and like a hot ass looks great in worn jeans so does a tele...
my current W.I.P
Here are my two.
Should swap the necks as the BS needs a darker neck.
I glad this thread was brought back to life! I can now add to it some.
I went to a guitar show 3 weeks ago looking hard for a P-90 gold top. No luck finding the right one, and was on my way out the door, and stopped by a chaps booth that I chat with at all the local shows, and spotted this!
It's a Gord Miller 56, fitted with old hardware, and Lindy Fralin Pups. It was made for Paul Warren of Rod Stewart.
I love my Bloomfield LP, but I just can not put this down. I have a Strat that I never play cause it just doesn't "feel" right to me, but this thing feels perfect in my hands. And it sounds like angels singing!
Anyway, meet the toilet seat!
Never had a Tele before, and now I wished I had done this many years ago! My LP is sorta pissed at me right now!
reason for repost: i don't know where the original photo disappeared to
this photo has a bit more detail of my current Fender American Telecaster Deluxe
