    I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I'm buying a Les Paul Custom, and I want to know, can you put a bigsby directly into mounting holes for a Stopbar tailpiece? I ask because I see that Hendrix's Custom has a chrome bigsby, rather than gold like the rest of it, which made me think it was added post-purchase.[IMG]

    You can, but just using a Vibramate V7 + Bigsby Bigsby B7, so that you don't have to drill any extra hole in the body, and you can easily revert back without any damage. To mount the Bigsby, as the picture above, you need to drill 6 extra holes in the body. I would go for the Vibramate;

    Exactly this :thumb:

    Took this one off after it being on the guitar for years without a single mark or scratch.

    I bought a 2017 Nashville black beauty a few months ago...
    Added a vibramate adapter and bigsby...no drilled holes

    Also, don't forget about the b5 which vibramate also makes an adaptor...

    I don't have a b5 but here is the look...it's VERY cool

    Kewl stuff - I had heard of the Vibramute, but that B3, a Towner Bar and V-Block is an interesting alternative.

    Tracii Guns is using Vibramates and roller bridges on all of his Les Pauls on the current LA Guns reunion tour.

    Some beautiful lesters here! I'm sure the vibramate would also be a miracle for guys who have vintage Les Pauls that they don't want to cut up. Thanks for the info

    Only takes about 5 minutes...I remember watching this dude like 5 years ago before pulling the trigger..

    It actually takes longer to restring than to add a vibrate...
