could carry that F (10) right on up to G (12) without lifting your fingers. It'd be easier and the timbre wouldn't change.

Unless you wanted the timbre to change on G. In which case, "I shut up now" :D

dunno about you guys but i generally don't MLP at home unless I'm playing at the same time.sometimes feels almost like sitting around shooting the shit with ************s havin a strum .....

at the moment i'm working on some new material for a possible motorhank type band again.

I want more Cash this time.I know they're not strictly he's songs but I'm running off a few of the 'american" albums working out tempos and arrangements and I can say 'sea of heartbreak' is a damn good tune as is on unchained .... especially with an LP custom through a marshall :thumb:

split between 'hung my head' sped up or as is another.

suppose better do folsom or ring of fire too ... keep the fans happy :laugh2:

Yeah, I've actually got my acoustic laid down on my lap, and what I'm doing is sliding up into the high note before thumbing the low note in position. I avoid getting too far up the neck doing that, because I tend to pull the slide out of parallel with the frets this way when I get scrunched up on the body. You're absolutely right, it'd have a more even tone.

I'm the same way. When I'm here from home, I have a guitar in my hands probably half the time I'm on. And then sometimes I read something and say "fvck yeah" and go grab it off the stand, and look up and twenty minutes have slipped by.

same here, feels like sitting around playing guitar and shooting the sh*t.

*and I figured you had your reasons Thump, just thought I'd point it out in case it was a brain fart (which happens to all of us.)

Nice to hear the good stuff in this thread. I have a soundcloud account.

Someone asked me to put some guitar on a thing they were working on.
It started with a little drum and piano jam. The other bits on SC are live recordings from my band's bass player's Tascam mini stereo recorder thingy (to be precise).

Some sketches I never finished. I do all the drum and bass programming, which is very
tedious, as I usually like to make them sound as natural as possible. I've been trying to
no avail to find a singer to work with. If that happens, I will be far more motivated to
get these and others in the queue done:
