I only have one tune on Sound Cloud. It's called "Wake Up Chi". It's Deftones inspired. It's mixed for shit. I never got around to polishing this up. The drums are played on a MIDI keyboard.

You get the idea better through headphones but anyway...

    Sometimes less is more?

Here lies Lester Moore. Four slugs from a forty-four. No Les no more. Tombstone inscription from Tombstone, AZ. (I think)

Thanks, AXE. I appreciate that. I should really mix and "master" the thing. It's not up to snuff right now but I'll get to it one day. This full-time dad stuff makes it hard!

Those both rock. The things I'm digging from those most are 1) AXE having some really cool suspended chords happening out of the standard power-chord thing, and 2) JJ, I don't normally care for effects, and vibrato probably least of all, but that hard vibrato you pull about 2/3 of the way through yours is fvckin sick.

I put up a couple of songs in Torrey's other thread, about why we play. Here's another couple. Don't laugh too hard at the singing on the first one. It's the better song.

Yeah, well, I wished for a coon's age that the rest of you would join Soundclick - and your sorry asses didn't.

Then, someone with pull around here got Soundcloud embedding enabled on this forum.

My inability to keep up with the technology of the month has nothing to do with my fear of you guys listening to me play.

    Or lack thereof.

Thanks a lot, Thump! I got that from Dave Murray. The man had some spooky vibrato on the Killers album. Not everything I play is this "metal" but I do have a spot for that in my heart. I'll have to get some of my old band (I played bass) up here, it's a completely different world of music.

River, I hope that being that you're my elder and a much respected friend this doesn't sound backwards...but listening to your playing progress makes me just as proud as hell. Doing the bass and a few leads on those early tracks was great fun, but your style is just noteworthy. It's leaps and bounds from the beginnings of RBBB. You set your sights at being the Grandma Moses of the guitar and god damn if you're not pulling it off. Good on you, friend. :thumb:
