Is that a special edition Custom? Never seen that headstock logo. Poor thing looks worse for wear. Ah the joys of customization.

Never seen one either, it has had a rough life, someone drill holes in the headstock for some unknown reason.. He brought an SG in as well, same vintage...

Here is a nice video of one from my favorite German vintage guitar store. The presenter is such a fine player!

Thank you TommyL, great info, I believe the moog circuit board has been removed. This is a heavy guitar too...

Yes we have done a few guitars for the Customer, mainly PRS. Now we are getting all his vintage guitars to rework. This was the last guitar we did. ( Warning not a Gibson ). Great customer and great guitarist who tours the USA every year....

Just curious, MT. Have you had "factory Plek'd" Gibsons in your shop and ran em through your Plek machine? Curious how much your machine had to do to true the Gibsons that were supposedly Plek'd by Gibson.....

Gibson uses a different type of Plek, it’s a STS, problem is Gibson won’t allow Plek to see there final scans. Every other Plek in the World gets there work checked by Plek Germany. I’ve had 3 guitar on our Plek that were perfect, one of which was this 2012. Others do need there fret heights balanced out.
