Ronnie Earl, is in my opinion, the greatest blues guitar player living.

I will put Ronnie Earl Way way up there, But I am not sure bout a greatest
I would love to see Gary Moore do an instructional vid ! If he had done one of these I bet it woulda sold so well he coulda kept the Peter Green LP !
Duke Robilliard shouldnt be discounted, he has also done some great instructional blues / jazz vids for both Hot Licks and Hal Leonard

I just discovered RE from Sirius blues radio just a few months ago.
I knew instanlty that he's Definatly worth listening to and learning from.

My first thought is he was an old 60's blues god and when i googled him i found out otherwise. and he's a home boy too lol

I have a series of chicago blues videos from old home spun tapes of muddy and an unknown young dude playing catch up standing behind him named buddy guy. Great great stuff to see these guys in action esp a 22 y/o BG looking starstruck against ole muddy. the same look Id have if BG took me under his wing.. priceless

Guys ,One of my early Blues Gospels was Johnny Winter- Austin Texas, now called " The Progressive Blues Experiment . you want to hear real Blues Mastery , and find out why Muddy Waters called Johnny one of his adopted sons ? Thru many of Johnny's early years his bassist was a young cat named Tommy Shannon, Anyone know this guy?
