Here is an exceptional, great condition Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul - pre Jeff Beck version. This is a rare to find tone machine, especially in such great shape. The chambered "Cloud 9" series that saw extremely limited distribution before Gibson brought the hammer down.

Guitar is 100% original, no cracks, no breaks; it plays and sounds great! Works exactly as a truly dialed in Custom Shop LP should. This is a great guitar and sounds amazing clean or distorted with the stock Burstbucker pickups.

I'm the second owner. I bought it unplayed and in mint condition, I played many gigs with this lightweight, heavy tone guitar. Nearly no fret wear, set up great. Minor buckle swirls and light, small area rash, but no dings or scratches through the paint. All the original, matching paperwork from the Gibson Custom Shop included along with the original hardshell case.

    Weight: 7.2 lbs
    1st Fret: .925
    12 Fret : 1.0

    Asking $4300.00 OBO

BTW there are no scratches on the neck as someone asked me about - that's simply lighting and reflection.

That guitar is actually a 2005 model. The 2nd digit of the serial number designates the year.

Thanks for the correction, my understanding was it was the first. Could you direct me to an information resource?

Thank you, sir! Well, looks like it was made the fourth month of '05 and not the fifth month of '04...everything else is accurate and now I'm more informed. Win-win :)

Not exactly . Going from the pic of the serial # you posted . And how I understand how the Gibson serial numbering system work's , it's like this .
It is a (CR) Chamber Reissue
    (4)= Year of reissue -1954 ,
    (5) = made in year - 2005 ,
    (004) = makes it the 4th. made in that run ,of this build , that year . ='s CR 45004

My own inability to properly interpret a CS serial number notwithstanding - she's everything she's described as and needing a good home. Hit me with an offer!

I can't think of a better crowd to sell this to - someone make an offer. She needs the right home.

I have an 07 regular Oxblood and love it. Out of curiosity, what does this weigh?

I want to say somewhere in the 6 range, but I'm not positive and I don't have a quality scale here.

That's a good 2 lbs less than mine. These are fantastic guitars. gotta admit I've been in Strat mode for a few months though. I love my Oxblood. Great neck and the stock pups sound really good.
