    Sold on Reverb for $2830.

Here's another piece from my collection that I'm looking to move onto someone else.

This vintage Norlin era LP Custom is in amazing shape for its age. The nitro has aged beautifully to that Randy Rhoads cream. The binding is in excellent shape, and the frets are original with almost no wear at all - this really is a time capsule piece that has been lovingly taken care of. No breaks or repairs of any kind.

Everything is original on this LP except for the installed strap-loks, and upgraded vintage PIO caps. The pickups and wiring are all original, and the T-Tops are stamped as 1979. Plastics are original as is nut.

This LP has that unmistakable early Les Paul Custom T-Top sound, that "karrang" Tele vibe, with excellent string separation and snap. The neck pickup is clear and round, without being muddy like many LP's. Sustain is fanstastic and it stays in tune surprisingly well with the original tuners.

The neck on this is a little chunkier as far as these early LP Customs go. The ebony is super dark and in perfect condition. The neck is perfectly straight and plays with low action and zero issues - no buzzing, dead-spots or playability problems. This plays perfectly and bends are a breeze.

It ships with the original case, with all latches functional. The control cavity casing is included in the case but not attached.

    Specs:
    - 10 lbs 11 oz
    - 1-piece mahogany back
    - 3-piece maple top
    - Original 1979 dated T-Tops
    - Original wiring and pots
    - Original hardware and tuners, except added strap-loks
    - Ebony Fingerboard
    - 3-piece maple neck measuring .837 - .948
    - Medium C with slightly larger shoulders
    - Original case

    Demo to follow.

$3200 $3100 $3000 $2800 shipped via PayPal. This is my bottom line on this piece.

I cannot accept trades at this time unless it is a partial trade with an item I can easily flip, and a good chunk of change.

To be clear - it's absolutely not a 50's neck, not even close. You can see from the measurements that it's only .837" at the first fret, which is still a 60's taper.

However it is a little thicker than the typical .78" - .80" "twig" profile that you usually find on these.

This will be very similar to 90's LP Standards.

My bad - This is Nashville. I read an article that led me to believe otherwise.

Thanks guys! Had a friend who was interested but is leaning more towards a Black Beauty, so she is still available.

Bump.... for an awesome Norlin. I appreciate your description of the medium C neck with slightly lager shoulders. I know exactly what you are describing. I could might possibly live with her.
Still drooling! Can you post a pick of the neck heel from
the back where it meets the body ?

Of course! I'll snap a few later tonight.

Also keep in mind that Norlin era LP's have a 1.65" nut width, rather than 1 11/16", which makes it feel a little smaller in general.

I do have some serious inquiries over on TGP, won't be too long before this one is shipped out.
