Well, here is my contribution to the list. If you like Paul Rodgers style vocals, along with a bit heavier music you will probably dig this. I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I am a sucker for stupendous male vocals, and this guy's got 'em. Even if you hate this music, you gotta admit this feller has some pipes.

Right now I'm listening to KCRW out of Santa Monica CC: KCRW | 89.9FM - Media Player

Also, the drum tones on that Helmet were very cool.

I have a "Blues" playlist on my iPod that I had on "Shuffle". So far I've heard B.B., Freddie, Robben Ford, Robin Trower and Pat Travers (not in that order).

Edited - Whoops, forgot Albert too.

Actually this is more like "what I'm watching", but since it's music, I'm listening to it just as much if not more so.

I've got an Eagles bootleg that I love (I'm on my 3rd or 4th copy at this point as I just keep wearing it out) from '96 from the Hell Freezes Over tour in Christchurch, NZ and I've got it on right now. Amazing performance and highly recommended for any Eagles/Walsh/Felder fan. You can get copies on eBay I believe or try to find a torrent. And the guitar playing and tone is to die for of course. Right now "Life In The Fast Lane" is playing. Love that tone Joe Walsh gets with that Strat through the Dr. Z SRZ65 amp on this song. Don Felder's tone is great too - he's using a LP through a Marhsall JTM45 combo for this song. Felder also has a 90s Fender Blues Deluxe that he also uses where Walsh used the SRZ65 on everything.

I've been listening to this record almost nonstop for 2 weeks and I think it's an instant classic. The band's name is unprintable - the NY Times has given them rave reviews but calls them "****** **."

And I think that this is such a moving and ambitious video.
