I've had a skim through and I can't immediately see a thread for showing off Teles...so here we go.

Some would say it's not a Tele, but, it DOES have single coils in it.

I had this, but, traded it for a Junior:

Fender custom shop calls this one a 50's Relic. I became a Tele lover in less than an hour picking on it.
Now I'm obsessed with finding another.

nothing exotic, or fancy, just a 2015 Classic Vibe Vintage Blonde loaded body, 2015 Classic Vibe rosewood board from a Custom, and a layered parchment guard, also added a Gotoh compensated bridge.
My goal was to channel early 60s white Tele with rosewood board, white guard without spending custom shop dollars.
Just prior to Christmas 2015,I seen the neck on Reverb and thought I'd put it on a 80s Japan Squier black Tele that I had, next day the body was listed on Reverb from Stratosphere, it's fun custom Squier tele.jpg

I picked up this twangy lady last week. It's a Factory Special Run version of the MIM Standard Tele. Nothing too outrageous about except the Silverburst finish (which I'm in love with) and the reverse control plate. Plays super smooth.

    My birthday present to myself...

The Giverone T-Rose - a Swamp Ash body, stained pink by my daughter Nell and me, a Brazilian rosewood one-piece neck (so no fingerboard veneer), and pick-ups handwound by Jaime at The Creamery to my spec - to the extent that anything I specified made sense. The whole thing was painstakingly assembled (and tweaked, and corrected, and made to work) by David at Flame Guitars.

For a long time I had these three:

I'm down to two now though. Last year the other guitarist in Crash Pad, my main band, had his ten-year anniversary in the group. So I gave him the Frankentele. As he can be hard on guitars, and Teles are indestructible (plus, the Frankentele was a beater when I bought it), I'd been loaning it to him for gigs anyhow, whenever he had a prob with his guitar.

Last used in the early 90s. :p I have not had a copper phone line in quite sometime.

So ... why do I still have it? Mods: feel free to delete this bit of nonsense...

Best of the bunch thus far!
