2009 Deluxe Vneck, kinda been my project Strat, things are just to easy to modify, & there been few a few iterations:)
from vintage clone pick ups & pots & cap, to full out shred imitator with evolution pick ups .
I'm thinking of putting a Floyd on this ,,,, I gots way to much free time.

I've been thinking lately about picking up another Strat (I don't own any now, but have owned two Squiers and an MiM as well as several copies over the years).

Thread has me gassin'. Saw a candy-apple red MiM at GC for five bones, HSS ... do want.

I love Strats. In fact, I'm more of a Strat guy than a Les Paul guy < ducks >.

The first one is a Partscaster assemble to be a '62 RI of sorts. The second is an '89 Standard modded to be a poor man's '57 RI:

    Squier MIJ with O serial.

Probably not a special model...but it is very decent in terms of overall quality and sound.

58D09A22-54BA-4A01-88FC-66EDA19B3349.jpeg Partscaster I recently finished. Fender 50s Classic body, Allparts SRO-FAT neck with Tru Oil finish, Fender Tex Mex pickups, staggered vintage style tuners and Callaham trem with narrow string spacing. One of my best Strats ever!

I've owned several Strats over the years but the only one I still have is the first one. It's a '99/2000 MiM Strat that I bought off Craigslist in Nashville. My first electric guitar. I took it to Joe Glaser's shop and had it re-freted/Plek'd with med-jumbos. Added locking tuners and Fender Fat '50's pickups. After a great setup which included building up the nut and lowering the action, it's the best playing guitar I've ever picked up. I doubt if I would ever part with it. It's not much to look at but here it is... DSCN0506.JPG DSCN0509.JPG DSCN0511.JPG
