Sweet! Single ply replacement guard?
They are most of the time in cases, except for 12 of them. I rotate thru them from time to time,,,, pull some out and put some away.
I just need a large man cave so I can display them all..
I pull them all out once or twice a year just to check on them, to make sure there isn't any mold, rust, bugs, etc...
Thanks, nope it came that way, it's a Classic Players 50's.
My #1 Strat. A Made in Japan '56. It has a huge Vee neck with nice flame. I'm mainly a Gibson player but this is the one that gets played when I perform in Broadway shows in the theater. I have a rosewood/sunburst Fender Deluxe Players Strat for backup.
2011 American Special with Fralin split blade in the neck and vintage noiseless mid/bridge
pearl pickguard, trem cover, and tuner buttons.
One of my all time favorite guitars.
My first strat a '13 Mexican standard plus top. I picked it up yesterday evening from a gentleman who bought it to learn on. But he lost interest after a month or two. So I got it for £230 with a hard case which I was really happy. Beats £530 new
I picked up a Bare Knuckle loaded pickguard fitted with Sultan pickups, cts pots, oak grigsby switch and PIO cap for £140. So overall not a bad day
Heres my 2014.
heres my 0001 Stratocaster replica
I love Strats!
Finally, I took a new, more legit picture of my Strat:
Here's a crappy iPhone pic of my '69 CS Reverse Headstock Strat
Here's another one:
I don't know if this counts. Its not a Fender, but it is a Stratocaster in the broadest sense of the term. NGD for it here: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/sevenstring-guitars/298270-ngd-white-rabbit-doom.html The guy who built it did an insane job on the neck carve and I'm planning for my first build to do a swamp ash bodied clone in the style of a Charvel Sandimas sans the tremolo.
My one and only (Strat that is, I've got other guitars of course ). I bought this in 1982 and I had it refinished in Nitro last year and professionally set up. It's a 'JV' series Squier Strat, I just missed the point where they had 'Fender' in big letters on the headstock.
The picture on the bed is when it was new in 1982, the other the day I got it back from being refinished.
THIS RULES !!!
American Special And classic 50' strat
