That's my Ibanez SG Custom 1976 as she was origennal (white) and thet's the same Ibanez now after many modifications such as other pick ups (Seymour Duncons SH4-JB & DiMarzio Super Distortion) and after I painted her Red, now she is Blue :) :naughty:

Here's my latest addition that I picked up earlier this year. Using their pic as it's better than anything I could muster with my photography skills.

I got this RS1000 back in 1983, it was my first real guitar.

I replaced the neck PU with a DiMarzio Super Distortion after a year or two of owning it, but I still have the original. I've been trying to find another guitar that plays as nice as this one does for years (the Les Paul comes close :D). After 30 some years of flogging it, it does need some work but I'm a little leery about it losing that certain something if I have it worked on.

This early/mid 90s S540 is on loan to my brother. I also had a Phil Collen model Destroyer but unfortunately I have no pictures. Neither came close to the RS in terms of feel and tone.

Here's my old Jem77fp. I sold this about 3 or 4 years ago to buy my '97 Standard. I loved this guitar for a long time but towards the end, I hardly played it.

The original pink pups were badly faded when I got it, so I put green ones in. A FRED & PAF PRO.

I have a Jem FP. Bought it new in 2000. It's one I'll probably never let go of.

I bought mine in '95 and thought the same thing. I sacrificed a lot of fun to get it at the time... My music taste has changed a lot in the past few years. The whole Vai/Ibanez thing has past me by. That old Jem had been sitting in its case for nearly 3 years, untouched by me, so I thought I'd let someone who would play it own it....

I dont miss playing it, but I do miss looking at it. One of the coolest Jems I've ever seen, IMHO.

Just went with the PAF 7s, and glad I did. These sound great in this guitar. :D

Was initially going to try the Blaze Custom in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck, which I may experiment with in the future just to see:hmm:

Any of you guys have trouble adjusting to the necks on RG's and the like? I've used an ibby Rocket Roll, Gibson LP and JAzzmaster for everything in the last year, and although I love look, sound and balance of my RG, the neck tears up my wrist. Granted, I've only had it a few days but the adjustment period is taking longer than I thought. although one cool thing is, that flat fingerboard was made for tappin'. I'm a non-shred guy, but can't resist dropping my pants to my ankles and wanking out a pseudo 'eruption'. On second thought, that's probably not a good choice of words.....
