I dont know.I got it in a trade.I think its a Les Paul Standard with P90's.Its almost as heavey as my old Les Paul custom, definately not chambered. The saddles were changed to some grapite ones and the pointers have been removed. i love it though. I might change the pups ,not sure what to yet. [IMG] [IMG]

Mine is filthy, stripped and naked:

It's been in its case inside of a cardboard box since 1987. And long before that, my 17 year-old self did...questionable things to it. Luckily I had the presence of mind to carefully store every single original part that ever came off of it.

Right now it's on my workbench undergoing a slow but steady retrofit. As a lowly '72 and therefore not exactly collectible, I've chosen "more desirable" rather than "totally original." Part back to stock (tuners etc), part what I want (P-90s etc). But choosing carefully to make the difference between "used" and "vintage."

I was thinking about starting a thread here to use as a progress diary so maybe you guys can give me some tips or ideas as I go along. After all, it was stumbling onto this place that inspired me to pull it out from under the guest bed and revive it...

This was a Goldtop forty-something years ago, then it went au naturel in the late 70's. It will be gold once again in the very near future...
