I don't know if you have seen the Korina Explorer made over by HM. What a guitar. The V is fantastic as well:

I ended up selling the Holy V I had---I couldn't tweak that single-pickup sound no matter how
hard I tried . . . and in due course (as in, this past June), landed this beauty . . .

My 2004 Wine Red with ebony fingerboard (!). I added pickup rings to the Seymour Duncans, rearranged the knobs and added a chip to the toggle, and manhandled a Maestro vibrato onto it. She's my teenage dream come true.

I love what you did to your V! How does the Edwards compare? That model with the block inlays, but in white, has been tempting me

    Thanks ;)
The Edwards is great! A lot lighter than the Gibson, and the fretboard a lot narrower, 40 mm At the nut. But plays lovely, the Duncan's sound good too.

I framed the Vintage Magazine cover where Rick Vitto's story was featured. A few years later I went to the Tennessee Museum here in Nashville to see a guitar exhibition and they were there!

So cool. I recently saw an interview with Rick and he says the V is the best guitar he's ever owned or something along those lines, he had it in his hands.

I am about to make some changes, new pickups, distressed harware, new knobs, etc.

2009 and 2006. I can't say now if the boards were ebony. I thought all white ones up to 2010 were ebony.
