Setting up a guitar

    How difficult is it to set up your Les Paul from using 10 gauge strings to 11's?

    Any tips, tricks, would be appreciated.

    You'll have to check the intonation, and perhaps tweak the truss rod a bit.

    Isn't intonation checked at the 12th fret? Forgive my rookie interest. I usually take my guitar to a tech. But I figured it was time for me to learn to do these things myself.

    Yes, open string tuning compared to 12th fret...

    Adjust the saddles as needed.
