Gotta go, I just live in Auburn. Kent Commons is about 10 minutes away from me.
Hey John thanks for the head's up. Are you going to have a table?
I realized a day after posting the flyer that I'll be coming back home that same Sunday from camping in Florence. So, unless I haul all kinds of ass on a majestic scale from the Oregon dunes, I'm going to be a no-go for this one.
I was on the fence at first but I'm 99% sure I'll be there.
I'll be there, sharing a 3-table booth with a couple buddies. Look for the old guy with glasses wearing a red Martin guitar hat. Stop by the booth and say "Hi".
I might hit you & your buddies up for a little table sharing at the next one, Slater. If my next incoming amp works out like I think it will, I could be having a Soldano/Mesa spring liquidation sale. Maybe.
See you there, I'm looking forward to this I'll be wearing a beat up old brown stetson.
I'll definitely be there. My wife will be with me which could be dangerous because she's an enabler.
I'll keep an eye out for you rj.
Sounds like my wife is coming too. She's not an enabler...... rats!
Had a good time at the show today and hung out with slater for a bit. Picked up an Emerald City Engineering bamboo guitar stand that holds 6 guitars (and talked myself out of some guitars I didn't need).
Great score Lungo! Super nice of you to stop by the booth and chat for while.
I ended up selling a couple guitars to this guy...
Then I bought myself a '56 Les Paul TV Special. It was a good day!
You bought the TV Special?! You were still on the fence when I talked to you. I didn't tell you I could hear you playing it the first time I made my way around and it sounded damn good.
I missed it, damn. Got food poisoning sat, spent from 4:30 am Sunday to 3:00pm spittin' an squirtin. Maybe next year. A TV Special? bet its beautiful.
Sorry I couldn't be there.
Yeah, they came down a little more on the price and I could........not.......resist.
Sorry to hear redjunior! Hope you're feeling better today.
Yup, a 'player grade' '56 TV Special... it's beautiful alright, but it's a re-fin and has had some restoration work done to the body. Original pickups/electronics, and no head stock repairs. I'll try and get a few pics up later today.
Here are a few shots of my new (to me) '56 Special... Sounds heavenly through my 5e3.
Looks Beautiful, Slater. Bet she plays well too......
Feelin' some better, finally ate something this evening and it stayed where I put it...
Thanks rj. And yes! Practically plays itself.
Glad to hear your feeling a bit better. Cheers!
