    IMG_4796.JPG Hello,

Just got myself a new set of Slash signature pickups, got inspired to test them after the show in Stockholm on 29 June.

    They measure:

    Bridge 8,58
    Neck 8,33

What other measurements are out there? The DCR as stated on the SD site is 8,9

Really looking forward to rise early on Saturday morning swap out the pickups, drive my wife to work and then plug it into the JCM!!

Meant to post this in the pickup area, perhaps one of the moderators can move it?

    Thanks

The current site seems to have very high DCR readings compared to the old one.
The old A2pro was about 7.9k and the new site is saying mid to high 8's

The website re-do has lead to a lot of poorly transferred info.

Congrats on the purchase! I have them in my Standard and absolutely love them compared to the Burstbuckers! I find the bridge is less ice picky and the neck is much smoother and looses the muddiness. Just what I was looking for. Let us know what you think of them OP!

    Just did the first testrun!

They are quite dark in my 78 std LP but it is a nice kind of dark it does not turn in to mud. What I like alot is the raw edge to them and the attack when picking! Throathy might be a kind of description.

Great together with a tubescreamer or Treble boost.

I raised the pole pieces on string 1-4 a little bit to bring them out a bit.

Played them throug my three 1 w Marshalls and the JMP with boost switch engaged is the winner I think.

Best enjoyed together with an adult beverage IMG_4799.JPG
