If you do, please elaborate. I'm thinking about getting one for my Epi LP Custom, a Zebra for the bridge. I've got to replace the stock Pup, it just doesn't cut the mustard. But I just don't know.......... Convince me!

    Thanks.

I have an Epi Les Paul Custom with a Pearly Gates pickup in the bridge. It sounds really good. It doesn't blow me away or anything... but I'm happy with it.

    Here's a clip of it:

Cooper, good tones there. What amp were you using? I read reviews of the Pearly Gates on Harmony Central, most say the pup is too trebly. The complainers weren't playing LPs, they had Strats, etc.. That sounded real good on yours though, I've got the same model. I run it through a Marshall SL-X. My stock pups sound kind of dull with a lot of gain through that amp.

Actually..... in that clip I was playing it through a POD XT PRO into a cheapie Fender Solid state amp.

I need to make a clip of it through my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100.

I agree the pickup is a little trebly... but I just back off the tone knob and get it just right that way.
