Ok, I'll join in if you don't mind. I call this design "The Lernaean"

Body, top and neck are made from super lightweight white limba wood (Korina)!
    What's that? The pickup's screws don't look like a humbucker nor a P-94? That's because they're P-Rails with gold covers.

Yeah, that's right. Gold covered P-Rails. And what's that on the mounting rings? Switches? Yep, you guessed it, two Triple Shot mounting rings.

And since you're appealing to my imagination with the "No Load" statement, let me entertain you with these thoughts: both of the tone pots are No Load as well.

Both of the volume pots are push/pulls and they control series and phase operations. The bridge actually has piezo saddles and the bridge tone pot is also a push/pull - it alternates between magnetic and piezo output.

Oh, and those are Grover RotoGrip tuners you're looking at. And the nut is made out of white Tusq.

    Beat that. :laugh2:

Like the guitars posted before, nothing special and actually more a signature LP then a SC with an own touch to it. My taste in guitars changes from time to time, but currently I prefer simple designs to bling and wouldn't mind owning this one:

Its basicly a LP Standard without neckbinding, gold hardware, ebony board and multible bodybinding to add some contrast between the cream top and the quite yellowish binding. Also the Montag Script logo would be my choise to have it more individual. Straplocks is a must have! The backside would be a lighter Mahogany color like the R7s have.

Well, this would pretty much be my dream guitar right here. It's the best of both worlds for me, and I can imagine that other people would be interested in this.

    Les Paul Custom Deluxe
    [IMG]

Mahogany body with plaintop maple cap, ebony fretboard with split block inlays, Kluson Waffleback tuners, embossed mini-humbucker pickups, 300k audio taper pots with '50s wiring, tonepros locking bridge and lightweight tailpiece with locking studs, gold hardware, black plastics, and multiply w/b/w binding. This thing would be my #1 axe in a heartbeat.

Now, how's that for uncommon? :naughty:

Tks. Knarbens has started something here. I may just have that built, and sell one or two LPs if necessary to get there.

Having a custom-built Tele has taught me that my life's too short for the compromise of off-the-shelf, Humbucker-equipped LPs.

Once your finished, press PrtScn on your keyboard, that copies the whole page. Then go to something like Paint or Photoshop and edit out everything around the guitar. Once your finished save it then upload it.
