That is hilarious. Junior year in college, I had a girlfriend who was a certifiable nympho. We must have got it on to Elton John, on average, twice a day for six months. We'd sneak away for a weekend and get it done 10+ times (oh to be 20, again). We got it on constantly and we listened to Elton John, Prince "1999" and '80s FM radio (rarely). She had a single. So, she got to choose the music. There is no time in my life when I felt more hetero, blaring Elton John.

Davey J was my first guitar hero. My brother had the album Goodby Yellow Brick Roadand inside it has info on what each member played on every track. Back then I couldn't believe this one guy could play so many things. I thought I'd get to see him with Meatloaf back in the 80's but he rejoined Elton John. Steve Hunter who was another of my early heros replaced him so it wasn't too bad.

For a piano player he was really cool back in the days of yellow brick road but like david bowie I lost interest in them as they moved into 80's ummmmm music.
