    Yeah, just had a look at EVHs "modified" explorer :naughty: It's sort of the night of the living dead version lol. That didn't effect his wild and amazing guitar playing though :)

    That "Clapton cut" thing is wrong, just wrong.
    Would be a shame to do this to a perfectly fine Explorer.

    Well, we have a dead pickup in the neck, so too bad we'll just have to mod it!

    Overall a real nice player, though. After a proper setup, and she's pretty well set to go for me.

    The bridge pickup is pretty decent, some pretty good bite.

    Getting it so cheap makes me (feel) free to mod it to the gills.

    Now having played this one, and seeing that they run around $400-$450, I shoulda got one sooner and avoided beating my other (Gibby) Explorer up <doh!> This little Epi, it's a damn fine player.
