C, we did discuss ART. The motivation behind the structures. Feedback emanating from between the earwigs.

We did, it was a rich conversation, full of little references that you only make with someone you know is on your own wavelength.

It's the first we've talked since six years ago -- not out of hard feelings, just 'cause life intervenes -- and it was a wonderful convo.

Then Tim had to get back to janitorin' :laugh2::laugh2:

I enjoyed it, brotha. We'll do it again soon!

That Special sounds awesome. I like the bite. I love P-90s, but ya got my thinkin'....just may try a set of Minis.
I'm a huge Tragically Hip fan and Paul Langlois always plays a LP Deluxe and I've always loved his sound. Dammit, Fezz, yer costing me money. :)

    T. you were right about odd equipment. That 70's lore is very distant. Who does know? Leslie was blown out, the world was blown out.

B, minis are as Thump says"Cleanly distorted." Buy some!

They're very versatile pickups. Run through a clean amp, put the selector in the middle spot and twiddle the knobs, and you can get almost-Stratish tones.

Get some grind on you amp and you'll cop honest Thin Lizzy tones.

Put a dirt-box in the chain, and you can get good, clear, er, thump.

They cannot do everything, but no pickup can do what they do, either.
