Hey everyone! I got a SG Standard, which has a rosewood fingerboard as you might know. To clean it, I use HARLEY BENTON GUITAR CARE - Thomann Cyberstore EspaƱol (I've just ordered a lemon oil thingie, anyway).

However, lately, I've noticed the fingerboard is bright, flashy, like I can see it shine if the is enough light. It's as if I had been playing with oily hands. This is not the case, and I also use the linked guitar care liquid to clean the fingerboard.

Why is it happening? Solutions? Thanks mates ;)

you should only be oiling it about twice a year. Also after you do oil it allow it to soak into the wood and wipe away the excess.
