Roland Cube 80 sounds good in a jam situation!

    Hello all,

    Had a jam session with my buddy (drummer) earlier today and took my Les Paul Studio and Roland Cube 80GX. In the past I had traditionally brought tube amps (Peavey ValveKing, Orange OR15, etc.) because he tends to be a heavy-hitting drummer, but this time I wasn't in the mood for breaking my back and decided to bring the Cube and give it a test drive. This was the first time I've ever tried this amp in a rehearsal setting, and I gotta say, it delivered! My first reaction was, "Are you serious? That's what this thing sounds like cranked?"

    Now, I'm not saying this thing was the holy grail of tone, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was able to give enough volume while still delivering a decent tone. Below are some videos I took during the jam session:
