A couple of more.
Here's my 59 inspired Shumberg Les Paul... It's pretty rare... In fact, it's so rare there's only one of its kind! It was refinished by master Tony Berrington (you might remember him from this thread: http://www.mylespaul.com/threads/56-goldtop-from-les-paul-studio-conversion-project.385960/ )
I love it!!
Love the color. Double thumbwheels are cool too.
Cheers! Yes indeed, it is paramount for me as I'm using heavy gauges, and the bridge used to tip forward (not ideal...).
Been waiting a long time to post in this thread. The time has finally arrived. Full thread will be posted soon.

I got a few update pictures on my 59 replica. Two pictures are completely unaltered the others I just wanted to show the definition of the top. Check it out.

Happy wicked top Wednesday!
almost there Plexi! It's looking great. What color are you thinking?
Yes, I'm on the home stretch! I'm going with a dirty lemon burst. Kinda like this. The replica won't have a pickguard, and it will have Wizz double white PAF's.
That’s a great choice and will certainly show off that killer top! Love that color.
Getting the neck shape and then time to glue with HHG. Then paint, hardware, and final touches. Completion is in sight!
After it has been cold enough over here I could finally do the checking after the aging of my 55 Junior Replica.
Next is the binding and paint. Then hardware. This guitar is really going to be a stunner!
Some additional treatment to the checking with turpentine oil colour and lamp black and I am a happy man...
Wow that is scary good!!!
