Looks a lot like mine.
Yes, Looks very familiar. Ha
Here's the start of my replica. It still needs a little paint, and some imagination. But, it's coming along nicely lol.
Just got an updated pic from my builder. Still not sure if I'm going to go the JP route or the tobacco Slash/Perry burst.
My 59 replica is really taking shape. I picked a top yesterday. I picked top No.1. It's going to be a stunner.
Well I can no longer restrain myself and have ordered another Vaschenko, this a '59 LP Replica. This is not my guitar but will give you a taste of what Vaschenko is hand crafting. All of the work is done by Valery Vaschenko and it is old school. There is a rumor he will be making Flying-V replica and has some awesome Korina. My guitar should start being made in October, this will have to do until then. There is no one building guitars of this quality at this price:
I always thought Vaschenko made some beautiful works of art.
Due to Hurricane Irma and some unforeseen circumstances, this guitar is for sale...http://www.mylespaul.com/threads/luthier-built-old-wood-flametop-single-cut.397319/
is that sold now?
Yes, sold in an hour
What builder was that one?
Just so you know we don't generally mention Replica builder's names of on this Forum, out of courtesy & for obvious reasons etc. Find that information out by sending a PM to the owner.
So, here's where my 59 replica is as of yesterday 9-18-17. I love the top! Any estimates on how much longer until it's done?
I'm estimating it will be done in 1.5 to 3 months. I can't wait.
Today's rig. Hopping on the Burst Express.
This thread seems to have got very slow ..... is it brexit or even the North Koreans that are having this effect
And don't mention Donald trump although apparently he has a max replica in his arsenal
