my friend has a couple old les pauls. 69 and a 70. Both have problems intonating. Is there a drop in replacement with more travel?

Have swapped the bridge saddles around where needed?

There are kits that allow you to use the "Nashville" bridges without post modification.

Pricey, but well built - here is one source: https://www.faberusa.com/product-category/faber-bridges/

I recently got their ABR-1 replacement for my LP. It has slightly more travel than the original, but not much.

I don't know much more. There are plenty of members here who do.

Edit - they'd need the opposite - an adapter for ABR to Nashville ... never mind.

You can buy Nashville adapter posts that simply screw onto existing ABR-1 posts

Wondering if the issue isn't something else, like the nut being a little off. Even ABR-1 bridges should have enough adjustment to for all but radical string gauges.
