Nice Axe. Whats its story?
Maybe donate to one of the bands(Blackberry Smoke) fundraisers. They do a lot for kids with cancer. That is the plan.
I love it. You build some of the coolest looking guitars I've ever seen.
Yeah! Thats really cool!
Man that wood's got severe mojo all of its own...
Much coolness....the guitar & the "plan" !!
Man your builds are awesome. I have never been a tele guy, but I keep seeing these great looking reclaimed wood guitars and I really want one now. You also got me wanting to repaint my tele, take off the bigsby and start playing that thing again.
But I really want a nice reclaimed wood tele now. How much do your builds run if yo don't mind me asking?
Thanks all. I sent a few PMs. Dealing with a wisdom tooth.......No fun !!
Shipping to BBS Warehouse this week.
That's... That's... Bad a**. That thing is dripping with mojo I keep looking at all these pallets in my warehouse and debating about making a palletcaster. This doesn't help.
That's pretty sweet, man.
Thanks all.....Simple lil' guitar. Lot o' ballz.
I hate asymmetric grain on a guitar. I sent a HotRod Telecaster back to the retailer because of that very issue and my Teles are either symmetrical or have enough paint/lacquer to conceal the horror. Knots in the wood and very obvious multi-piece bodies just add to my disdain. I also dislike a rosewood fretboard on a Tele. A Telecaster should have a maple neck and board! I also use the neck pickup A LOT so one pickup is NUTS!
Which means that when I say "I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!!" you know I really mean it. That's just SO charismatic it leaps off the 'page'. Well done Sir!
Thanks !! Keep hating though .....it would be boring if we all liked the same stuff . Me , I like one offs and unique . I'm poor so Custom orders would never happen and a true vintage guitar are outa my price range too . So, I roll my own .
More of this wood pile .....this one shipped to Canada . This pine planks were old reclaimed feed store bins . Pretty hard for pine . Really resonate too .
