Id like to have your opinion on wich brand is the rarest of all MIJ LPs

Note that no-name is not a brand, so it does not qualify.

My suggestion is that the "Vintage" (NOT current vintage V100 and such) brand is the rarest, as i have only seen 2 guitars branded as such, both resembling Navigators. One of them i got.

Any other suggestions? Any other Vintage brand owners?

I don't think the Kasugas are as rear as Mushroom and Bison. Other that comes to mind are Combat and Chandler.

I have never seen an actual Kasuga, other than in pics. How about a Northern? I don't think anyone outside of Canada has seen one, but the Heerby's (for the Australian market?) I've seen are nearly identical. I also wonder how many of these 'rare' brands are actually Matsumoku or Kasuga in origin? They seemed to have 'tagged' different guitars for different markets (hence my Kasuga 'Northern'. I always thought for the longest time that I had a Canadian made guitar because of the MOP maple leaf on my headstock.)

Wouldn't be too sure those 'Vintages' are the same maker takes alot of imagination to match up the logo's even if we assume your ones is scratched. Plus no Lead Player decal , different tuners etc you'd assume they'd have some consistency if they were factory made. Maybe just a luthier made one especially with a logo like Vintage

Tuners on mine is def not original, the old screw holes are visible. Mine seems factory made, have imprints under neck PUP but difficult to make out, i guess there are two sevens and something else. Alot are similar, and they are both very similar to navigators, wich made transitions in both logo and plastic color from black to white in back, just as the difference between my vintage and the other.

Thanks for your imputs. Please do an estimate how many was made. I have Vintage in 2 ex, but they might not be different brands. Anyway, there were alot of MIJ brands, made in many factories and there are big changes within model specs from year to year, so for that reason, a vintage is a vintage, even if different logo or factory, aslong as its japan made. I dont think there were 2 independent vintages from same era. Original PUP in mine are T-top imprinted, chrome cover Gibson PAF, made 1976-1980. (not installed in pics) So the guitar is probably made at that time. Noble pots.
