That's my "minimum size" at this point. I think the Pattern series necks were indeed a refinement in overall shape, but the fact is that a Pattern carve can be made by removing wood from a W/F carve. The majority of players seem to like the Pattern in all fairness, however there are a few of us who long for more lumber. The Pattern just feels....like it wants to be bigger, at least in my picky and relatively small hands.

If PRS had an option for a larger "Pattern" neck and had that option been available last Summer, I'd be on it, either in a Stripper or full on SC58. Maybe more than one. Give me at least .900 1st fret and close to 1.000 12th, and I be cool. That would be a great guitar for me.

I hold out hope, but encourage anyone else who can hang on a healthy "medium/large" sized neck to give these a try because they are pretty cool guitars. They really are.

I prefer the normal bridge as well but this guitar cannot be beat for the price. Paul is really starting to get an incredible souding voice into these things. Sound scientist.

Does "stripped" mean they stripped off the crappy poly finish before you get it?

How bout some serious inlays. I expect more than that from PRS. Hell, my SE has better inlays.

I'm going to assume the dots are part of the stripped look (which is kind of cancelled out by the flamed maple top...)

Nice guitar, but not exactly stripped down.

Also apparently you can get birds, unless the spec list is wrong.

I like dotnecks, but yeah, set against a figured top, they look dinky.

It's a cool design but I agree about the dots.

Speaking of PRS singlecuts - I just got 2nd row tix to see Journey. Can't wait to see and hear Neal Schon rocking his PRS's. I love his playing. Very melodic.

Out of curiosity, what makes poly crappy in you eyes? Regardless, this guitars has a V12 finish.

Yea, that's kind of the idea for a "stripped" model. I wouldn't criticize a gutted, race-ready Ferrari for not having cup holders...

Go putting serious inlays on a guitar that is designed to be basic and it kind of takes away from the concept. Maybe you need a normal SC for the eyes.
