    Perfect. Mick Taylor style. My only issue with the 2013s was the Nashville bridge, and you've sorted it. Gorgeous.

    Mrfett ,did you use one of those 'ABRN' to replace the Nashville ?

    This guitar has the Faber iNsert Steel Bridge Studs and a Tone-Lock Bridge.

    I have an 89 ES 335 w/ Nash bridge that I'm considering this for also.
    Definitely an improvement ?

    hmm... i'm not gonna say that sonically it's a definite improvement. aesthetically no question; it looks way better. I think the Faber stuff sounds different but i'm not sure it's always necessarily better. for example, I have an '81 LP Custom with a nashville bridge, and i have no desire to touch it, it sounds righteous.

    with this guitar i was purposely going for the '61 Reissue vibe so i wanted the correct bits on it. if i had an '89 335 that was an awesome guitar i'd probably do a Faber conversion to ABR-1 and keep the old nashville stuff in the case, but i'd do it because in my opinion the Faber locking bridge looks way better. it might sound better too but that's something you really have to judge with the guitar in hand.
