Nice! Is this a Custom Shop in Walnut? Which year?
It's a 2015 Standard like mine in the translucent ebony finish.
My 2013 60's tribute. Has the circuit board removed, cavity shielded with conductive adhesive copper foil & 50's wiring installed. No load tone pots with an 0.022uf & 0.015uf tone caps. Burstbucker 1 & 2 changed out for an overwound T top type (8.8k) in the bridge & 57 classic in the neck.
T-Tops kick ass! Got one in the bridge of my Samick SG and I want another for the neck, after hearing a '69 SG Custom in the neck position.
Here's my SG; a 2007 Historic Standard in Oxblood. I've never seen another or found any info on this run. I suspect they just used up whatever paint was left from Jeff Beck LPs...
Best capture of the true color I could manage:
And mid-transition to Cream plastics:
T tops do kick ass. I'm using the Vineham 60/70 bridge. Great pickup, roll the volume back a little & its like a stock T top. Thinking I'll get the neck changed out for a T top too. Cheers
I'm primarily an SG guy. My first, epiphone SG Special. Got me hooked.
Sold and upgraded to:
Very nice Gibby SG, what model is this ?
2013 Natural Burst SG Standard
Both my 2015s...
Standard guitar in translucent ebony...
Standard short scale bass in heritage cherry...
2011 61 Reissue in faded satin brown. Fretboard is baked maple but is super dark and dense, almost could pass for ebony. Upgraded to Faber hardware, WCR Godwood bridge / Duncan Antiquity neck, Bourns pots and Orange Drop caps. This is one fine playing, nasty sounding guitar. Probably going to hang onto this one.
Faded '61s are the coolest. That's a permanent feature on my wish list.
Hi, can anyone shed some light on this Sg? Is it real what it worth etc? Would appreciate the insight thanks!! Hope you can help
Looks like a modified late 60s SG. Tuners have been changed and the original maestro them has been removed and replaced with a stop tailpiece. Value varies but if I was trying to sell it I would ask $2500 and let people talk me down a bit.

At yet another time...
Still have the '76..which I guess IS the SG for me..
