These pics were taken when I first got it so obviously those stickers on the pickups are long gone.

Is your Standard a two-piece body? You can see the seam in mine pretty clearly in this (terrible) shot, although it's harder to see in real life. The flash must have made it appear this way:

I think mine IS a two piece, but it's off center! Unless the grain runs that way, and the flash is bringing it out..

    Okay.

I loved your earlier shots of the "four" SGs. Look at all those headstocks! :dude:

Just looking at it, I can't find a seam anywhere?!? The flash does strange things to all of my guitars...

I still haven't bothered screwing on the pickguard. :laugh2:

I haven't yet because I am going to ditch the coil-splitting on the bridge pickup once it's time for a string change. It didn't sound like I expected. In the place of the mini-switch I'll put in a pot with a tone knob, wired to nothing, therefore keeping the master volume and master tone.

Here's my 1969 SG Std. It's not a re-issue, it's a true vintage 69. It's in good company with my 03 Custom Artic White Flying V and my 07 R8 VOS Les Paul.

Thanks bro, she's very special to me... you would not believe what I paid for it. OK, are you ready???? $60.00 from a guy I worked with way back in the early 80's and get this, it didn't have T-Tops either, it had the early PAT # pickups which are practically PAFs!
