Just thought this might be a fun change of pace by posting a pic of one of your Reissues sitting next to a guitar you love that isn't a Gibson.

Edit to add another of my favorite combos.

Call me a party pooper, but all the guitars I love happen to be Gibson’s.

It's a Korean job. The Neil Boshart model (2011?). Not many made, which is a shame. It's got the olde standard rocker's combo of SD Jazz in the neck and JB in the bridge which sounds as great as ever. The top is veneered, but over a proper maple cap... and it's got 50s wiring too. And it plays like a dream.

I'm too old for it, but I no longer care. It's great :)

Here is my 2014 Benchmark 1960 relic reissue next to my 1977 Tele De Luxe.
The Tele was my first "real" guitar and I bought it new in Eugene, Oregon in 1980,
when I was over there from Denmark competing in track & field for the Ducks.
I had it immediately painted purple (as you did in those days :) ). Them Seth Lover humbuckers sound really great !!!
.... and in the background you can see why my forum name is "Alvinfan" :) !

I own several guitars of oriental origins and they're awesome players. Some had been with me for many years and have become permanent fixtures in my "tool kit".
