No, not gonna do a 2n1 type deal. Thats a lot more than most folks can chew on.

I wouldn't start with a DMM pedal as a first time build. Those are rather complicated in the layouts.

Most dirt pedals are simple ciruits though. Easy stuff. :thumb:

I would be up for a DIY CE-2 build. Easy schematic and I'm sure everyone can use a good shimmer :p

Absolutely. I want to do one since I love that circuit and could use another chorus. I currently don't have any. Need one. :thumb:

I haven't checked exactly but I would say for the whole thing, ballpark $50 or so.

Minus the opamps, the enclosure will cost more than the components. I'd have to double check the amp prices...haven't looked in a bit. :D I'm avoiding looking at those aspects till we settle on what to build.

Ironically, the most 'expensive' clone I ever made? The madbean version of a Klon. That was pretty pricey.

Oh wow this thread really took off since I last looked - DMM with tap tempo? Yessir, that would interest me greatly! No DIY building here though, I'd want an assembled and working unit.

Well, now comes the next test...I will need a minimum of 15 people to put money where their mouth is and jump in. I'll be closing this thread poll in a few days. Then, after I get a final count of who wants in on whatever pedal, I'll start compiling prices. Ballpark figure for a DMM fully assembled and shipped $90 or so if it's part of a group buy.

For those who live overseas, obviously a few bucks more for shipping.

1000 euros?!?!? 1200 no less! lol

You can put me down for a DMM if it has a tap tempo. 90$ is a steal.

Edit: What pedal builds are currently leading?

Well, thats sort of the point of a group buy. Everyone gets a great custom pedal at a great price. This is something V!N and I originally envisioned.

I've had the idea after I waited 6 months for my Timmy pedal (which I didn't actually care for once I got it) and V!N was the trigger for making it happen originally. It kinda pissed me off that I spent a ton of $ on a pedal that literally cost $45 and some change in parts. Obviously the maker gets some dough but a 500% markup?

    :mad2:

Plus, I like most of you guys so I'm happy to hook ya'll up. :thumb:

What kind of price are you thinking for an unassembled DMM with painted enclosure? I'm handy with the soldering iron - I haven't gotten the painting down pat yet. ;)
