I was just about to contribute, but there's a bunch of kids with solid black eyes knocking on my door. I need to go see what they want.

Update....we've been writing and recording. Our singer Giacomo's mom sure must be proud to see his name in lights!

My meager home studio setup. Sharing a bedroom until we move into a new place with some room.

I do not have pic but I built my studio in a small trailer. It worked great when I lived in Santa Rosa Ca due to the mild climate. Since I moved here to the central valley, the heat has really limited my use of it. I put in a air conditioner but it does not seem to really make a huge difference.

All this is moot because my computer died and I am so sick and tired of paying big money for something that will only be good for a few years. Basically, I stopped recording and (since my hands have been doing pretty well) started to just focus on guitar.

That's very cool the Gabriel has a space like that. It totally reminded me of my friend and neighbor's "Shed" studio....It's an awesome space. An actual shed he built in his back yard that is just so darn cozy, you never want to leave!
I'm set to tear apart his Sony console next month and do a bunch of upgrades to it.

Some pics of "The Shed - Niagara-on-the-Lake".....brownie points to anyone who recognizes the drummer!

Nice how do you like the desk? I was looking at that desk on musicians friend, but alot of the reviews were negative due to the top being damaged in shipping, stating it was poorly packed. Is that the medium or large size?

It's the 46" desk. $249 at Guitar Center. Picked it up instead of having it shipped. Took about 40 minutes to assemble. Rolls easily, and has built-in rack mounts.

I have the same desk with the side rack piece too. The top to my side unit was damaged in shipping. Musician's Friend replaced it free of charge, but it did happen. Otherwise, I like mine.

How is the height of the monitor shelf? It looks high, like it might be a neck strain?
I really like the functionality of this desk and I am highly considering replacing my Ikea made studio desk for something with rack spaces under the monitor shelf like this one.

It is a little high, but I've gotten used to it; it hasn't caused me any neck strain thus far.
