Those guitars are frowned upon around here...
Les Pauls are lame
a very very nice les paul...
Nice shots man! Thanks!
epis baby... epis.
What a waste to put it on display at a restaurant.
Looks like a fake.
Yeah.. I'm thinking that too.. Who would hang a guitar worth THAT much $$ up in a "theme" restaraunt??
Kinda like hanging a Van Gogh up in Chuck E Cheese.
I bet it's made outta pine and has Dim Sung Yang's fingerprints all in the sap.. I mean "nitro" it's covered in.
How many '50s bursts did Keith Richards have?
The one I'm most familiar with of his had a Bigsby on it.
I shudder to think how they attached it to the display case. I have seen some nice guitars in HR hotels with screws screwed right into the backs to hold them on brackets in the cases.
Looks like they've done just that.
It's real. Here's a better pic.
what idiot would give their 59 LP to a restaurant to fill up wall space? Oh wait, that right, the same guy that was sent to the hospital because a coconut fell on his head. =D
Looks like it has had a Bigsby at one time...
Hmmm.... So it does....
There's a thread in the Vintage section of the forum about an article on bursts in the current Guitar Aficianodo. One of the posted photos is of Keith Richards back in the '60s with the Bigsby'd burst I'm thinking of (it's the 5th photo from the top BTW) -
